    If a column of type DateTime is explicitly declared. eg:-

    <xcdg:Column FieldName=”Date”
    Title=”Date”
    Width=”90″ />

    the DatePickerEditor is never displayed when the cell is selected in the InsertionRow.

    All is fine as long as AutoCreateColumns=”True” and the DateTime column is auto-generated but if the column is declared no editor is displayed until the new row has been commited.

    Thanks
    Michael

    AutoCreateColumns automatically assigns a CellEditor to created columns based on the data type of the Data Objects (whenever possible).

    When disabling AutoCreateColumns, you need to specify the CellEditor you wish to use:

    <xcdg:Column FieldName=”Date”
    Title=”Date”
    Width=”90″
    CellEditor=”{x:Static xcdg:CellEditor.DatePickerEditor}” />
