    Hi I have a Grid bound to a datagridcollectionviewSource that is bound to a BindingList that allows adds edits and deletes….

    I’m using InsertionRow to add new items to the underlying datasource.

    Everything seems to work fine when AutoCreateColumns = true;

    When I switch it to false I can still edit cells in existing rows; however, insertion row won’t enter the Edit Mode.

    I tried setting EditTriggers on InsertionRow itself but that did not help.

    Is there anything special I need to do in order to be able to do both :Insert data and Create columns myself.

    Thanx, Alex.

    When working with AutoCreateColumns = false, for the InsertionRow to function property, you will need to manually set CellEditors on the Columns.

    e.g.:

    <Column CellEditor=”{x:Static xcdg:CellEditor.TextBoxEditor}” />
