    Does anyone know how to create tooltips that will show the value of the data point the mouse is currently pointing to?

    I have a line chart containing a number of line series and also a cluster bar chart with an array of values for each bar series. The series values change often so the tooltips need to lookup the value of the data point at the time the tooltip is displayed. So far I can only figure out how to display static tooltips and not the value of the data point.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    In case anyone is interested…

    ‘Declare ToolTip Interactivity object to show data point value
    Dim ttSeriesValue As New Xceed.Chart.GLCore.GLTooltipInteractivityOperation

    ‘Change ToolTip InitialDelay to display immediately
    ttSeriesValue.InitialDelay = 0

    ‘Add ToolTip Interactivity object to ChartControl
    ChartControl1.InteractivityOperations.Add(ttSeriesValue)

    ‘Define ToolTip mode for Chart Series (bar series in this case)
    Dim barTotal as New Xceed.Chart.Core.BarSeries
    barTotal.Interactivity.TooltipMode = Xceed.Chart.Core.SeriesTooltipMode.Formatted
    barTotal.Interactivity.TooltipFormat = “<value>”

    Simple when you know how!

    Does any one know how to introduce rubber band effect in the chart, like changing the values of the series bar with the mouse move event.

    Thanks
