    Hi there,

    From the supporting doco I know how to add SmartExplorerTaskPane groups & tasks programatically, but how do I handle the click events for these dynamically added tasks?

    I know there is a “click” event for the whole TaskPane, but this is fired off if you click anywhere on the TaskPane. But in this event would it be possible to know that I have actually clicked one of the Task items rather than a randow click on the TaskPane?

    There doesn’t seem to be any specialised events for the TaskPane so it looks like this is my best option.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    regards,

    Mac

    How do I add SmartExplorerTaskPane groups & tasks programmatically? I have a group called grpNavigation. In my code I am trying to do the following code:

    private Xceed.SmartUI.Controls.ExplorerTaskPane.Task NewTask;

    this.NewTask = new Xceed.SmartUI.Controls.ExplorerTaskPane.Task(“Return Home”);
    this.NewTask.Text = “Return Home”;
    this.grpNavigation.Items.Add(this.NewTask);

    However, nothing seems to be added. What am I missing?

    Solved this problem. I was not referencing the proper instance of the pane.
