There is no built-in way of doing this. What can be done is to have the mouse select multiple rows without pressing the shift key, and then make the drag operation without releasing the mouse button. We have a <a href=”http://download3.xceedsoft.com/Archive/SelectedCells.zip”>sample</a&gt; that shows how to do it. It is cell based, but should be fairly easy to make it row based if you so wish.

There could be a way to handle the SelectedRowsChanged, and if the user clicks within what was selected, then revert back the SelectedRows collection to what it was before the click. Then the drag operation would be for the whole selection. This, however, has not been tested.
